You Are Missing Out On Massive Referral Business

Did you know that it’s significantly cheaper (six or seven times, to be exact) to retain a current client than it is to bring in a new one? While most agents focus their marketing efforts on generating new leads, top producers know the biggest ROI comes from working past clients. It’s a win-win!

Outbound Engine notes that real estate agents lose 20% of their clients per year because of attrition. The best way to maintain relationships with past clients is through a “multi-touch” approach. This means that you remind them of your presence (and how great you are) through multiple avenues and mediums: social media, email, and events. Think of your clients as old friends. Keeping in touch requires work, but the payoff is worth it.

Facebook’s Newest Ad Types – How Canvas & Marketplace Can Help Real Estate Agents Attract Leads

What if we told you there was an advertising platform with results that satisfied 90% of real estate agents? And yet only 5% of agents are seeing mobile campaigns as a significant source of leads – because their FB ads aren’t optimized for conversions. Would you see this as an opportunity? You should.

While 64% of agents have tried Facebook advertising, few have figured out how to convert it into a mobile lead generation engine. Part of the reason for this is that many agents are driving mobile traffic to non-mobile optimized pages, which we wrote about here. Another reason is that – until recently – Facebook had not created the perfect mobile ad unit for real estate. As of a couple of weeks ago, however, things have changed. Now is the ideal time to jump headlong into Facebook advertising.

5 Ways to Have the Best Social Media in the Real Estate Game

Real estate is a highly social profession, but often agents don’t realize that social media should be an extension of their charismatic IRL selves. A skillful and expertly curated social media presence is just as important to your brand as a great website. According to Hubspot’s Social Benchmarks Report, real estate agents post on social media at the highest volume of any industry, but are the least effective in terms of engagement. The gist? You may be posting too much, and not very well.

Top 3 Real Estate Digital Marketing Mistakes

There’s nothing cooler than a retro, analog real estate agent, right? High-tech is out, vintage and device-free is in, right? Wrong, so so wrong. Just ask KAPOGI – a broker on the ground, a.k.a Reddit a.k.a “the front page of the Internet.” He writes: “an agent that is shying away from tech should be a bit of a warning sign…Agents who don’t use electronic signatures, online document management and all the other tools are falling behind. Very quickly.” Insisting that clients jump through hoops so that you can keep using outdated technology implies you’re not serious about your work. Ignoring the benefits of being tech savvy, KAPOGI notes, “is pure laziness on an agent’s part.”

So what’s the big deal regarding search visibility?
